Taking a deep breath, I pick up the phone and dial his employer. The person on the other end is stunned but listens carefully. “Thank you for this,” they say. “We’ll investigate immediately.”
As I hang up, my heart races, but there’s a strange sense of empowerment. I know this will rattle him.
