4. Baijiu (Chinese liquor)

Baijiu is a traditional Chinese beverage, especially high-proof baijiu. Due to its high alcohol concentration, it has a strong bactericidal effect, so it can be stored for a long time if properly sealed.
While most beverages and foods have clearly defined shelf-life requirements, baijiu (Chinese liquor) does not have this restriction.
As time goes by, some high-quality baijiu can even become more mellow and have a smoother taste due to changes in the liquor's composition.
Under proper storage conditions, even expired liquor can still be consumed safely, especially if there are no abnormalities such as discoloration, sedimentation, or off-odors.
Especially some older types of baijiu (Chinese white liquor) often become highly sought-after collectibles, and their value and taste may even improve over time.
It should be noted that low-quality blended wines may not be as stable as pure brewed wines, so low-quality wines stored for too long may spoil.
As long as the quality is up to standard, expired liquor does not mean it is undrinkable.
